Local Government elections are to take place in 2008.

Important dates for the 2008 Local Government elections:

Close of Rolls: Monday 4 August 2008

Close of Nominations: Wednesday 13 August 2008

Registration of How-to-Vote Material closes: Monday 25 August 2008

Election Day: Saturday 13 September 2008
