Can residents be made liable for any additional or extra-ordinary charges?

Residents are only liable for their ongoing rental set at the equivalent of 85% equivalent of the maximum Aged Pension including rent assistance.

Residents are liable for the cost of services such as Doctor, optometrist, dentist, podiatry and medications, dressing materials and other treatment. Residents are liable for any intentional damage caused to their unit or common areas of the Hostel.
