Draft Management Plan, Budget, Community Strategic Plan and Tourism Plan Available for Public Commen

Bland Shire Council has released its draft management plan including the draft budget and revenue policy for community comment. The plan seeks to make sure that the needs of the community are met both through the implementation of new infrastructure and programs and by ensuring that existing developments are maintained.
In addition to the management plan, council is also releasing the draft community strategic plan and draft tourism plan for public comment. These plans are aligned with the strategies developed through community input in the recent planning sessions.
The purpose behind all of the Council’s plans is to ensure that we are better prepared to cater for the changing needs of the community in the future years.
Copies of the draft plans are available for viewing on Council’s website, at the Shire Street administration building, and at designated points in all of the smaller villages.
