New Playground and Landscaping Almost Complete at Children’s Services Unit

Parents and staff of the Bland Shire Council's Children's Services Unit were not afraid to get their hands dirty last weekend at a Council led working bee to plant gardens at the facility in Pine Street.
The working bee was part of the outdoor upgrade that has been occurring at the Children Services Unit over the recent weeks. The upgrade has included new playground equipment and shade for the children to enjoy.
"I would like to thank all those people who gave up their precious weekend time last Saturday to help with the gardens, "said Bland Shire Council's Manager of Library and Community Services, Adele Casey
"Holding a day like this not only helps to keep the costs down, but also provides an opportunity to meet and work with new people," concluded Mrs Casey.
