Wyalong Cemetery Memorial Wall

Last modified: December 1, 2008 - 3:40 PM

Media release 1 December 2008

A Memorial Wall will be erected at the Wyalong cemetery to remember those who are buried in unknown grave sites.

The Wyalong District Family History group requested a Memorial Wall to be erected on either side of the Clear Ridge road entrance with plaques installed for people who have proof of burial at the Wyalong cemetery. Plaques can only be installed where the actual grave site cannot be located via council records or Bland District historical files. Plaques can be purchased through Bland Shire Council

The Wyalong District Family History Group believe that this feature will not only serve it's purpose but enhance the entrance to the Cemetery.
