Survey to gauge community opinion

Bland Shire Council is currently seeking feedback from the community about the importance of and satisfaction levels with Council’s current services and facilities.

Council has engaged Micromex Research to conduct a customer satisfaction telephone survey of 300 randomly selected Bland Shire residents.

As well as gauging importance and satisfaction levels with current services and facilities, the survey will also seek community opinion on a Council proposal for a special rate variation.

From the week commencing 18 October, local residents may be contacted by a Micromex representative and asked to participate in a 15 minute telephone survey.

“Council encourages everyone who is contacted to participate in the survey and provide honest feedback,” Bland Shire Council Acting General Manager, Adele Casey said.

“The results of the survey will be a valuable resource for Council when assessing community priorities, considering the proposal for a special rate variation and in the development of its new Community Strategic Plan in 2016.”

“For those people who do not have time to do the survey when contacted they can organise a date and time for a call back from the interviewer.”

For further information people are encouraged to phone Council on 6972 2266.
