Cowal Gold Project

Current Major Developments

The Bland Shire is experiencing strong levels of growth as a result of major agribusiness and mining developments.

Pace Farm Development The Pace Farm development, 10km West of West Wyalong has provided a positive boost for the local economy. The $30m Pace Farm development has added around 70 direct and indirect jobs into the local West Wyalong economy. Cowal Gold Project The $200m gold project at Lake Cowal has injected significant growth into West Wyalong. The Cowal Gold Project, located 40km North East of West Wyalong has created approximately 200 full time jobs and it is estimated to inject approximately $14m per year into the local West Wyalong economy.
