C Change BureauThe C Change Bureau is a joint initiative of the Riverina Regional Development Board, the Riverina Area Consultative Committee and 18 Councils from the Riverina/Murray region. The C Change project (where "C" stands for "Country") is supported by funding from NSW Department of State and Regional Development and the Australian Government through the Regional Partnerships Program, run by the Department of Transport and Regional Services. The key objective of the project is to attract people from the Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan areas to new lifestyle and employment opportunities in the Riverina/Murray regions of southern NSW. All promotions will be coordinate by the C Change Project Officer, Lisa Evans, who is based at the DSRD offices in Parramatta. 'Spotlight' promotions featuring individual Councils will have specially prepared C Change brochures and giveaways that will feature lifestyle and employment opportunities in Riverina/Murray, designed to attract people away from the metropolitan rat-race. This project was launched on Friday 28th July 2006 at the Sydney Morning Herald Careers and Employment Expo, Darling Harbour Convention & Exhibition Centre by NSW Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation, the Hon. Sandra Nori. For further information regarding this important promotional project please visit the C Change website at www.cchange.org.au or contact Project Coordinator, Lisa Evans on the details below: PO Box 242 PARRAMATTA NSW 2151 Contact details |
