USEFUL AGENCIES AND DEPARTMENTS

Department of State & Regional Development - The NSW Government's business development agency. Your first point of contact to access NSW business information.

AusIndustry - the Australian Government's agency for delivering products, services and information that supports industry, research and innovation.

Australian Bureau of Statistics - Gives you access to the full range of ABS statistical and reference information.  Everything on the ABS website is accessible free of charge.

Riverina Area Consultative Committee - Promotes and disseminates information on Government priorities and programs for the benefit of business and the community.  Also coordinates the Small Business Answers Officer Program, an initiative of AusIndustry which is delivered through the ACC network.

Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources - Develops and implements a range of industry policies and business assistance programs that build on the Australian Government's three key drivers of economic growth - innovation, investment and international competitiveness.

NSW Office of Fair Trading - The role of the NSW Office of Fair Trading within the Department of Commerce is to safeguard consumer rights and to advise business and traders on fair ethical practice.

GrantsLINK - Helps you find funding available under a variety of grant programs for individuals, businesses and communities.

WorkCover NSW - Promotes workplace health and safety, and provides a workers compensation system for the employers and workers of NSW.
