Road Closures

Changed traffic conditions on Mid Western Highway at West Wyalong

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Mid Western Highway for work to reduce the risk of flooding and provide a stronger and safer road near West Wyalong.

Work will be carried out 9.5 kilometres west of West Wyalong between Langes and Minogues lanes between 6.30am and 6pm weekdays and between 7am and 5pm weekends as required from Monday 18 March to Friday 21 June, weather permitting.

Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place 24/7 for the duration of the project and stop/slow traffic control will be in place during work hours.

Motorists are advised to allow an additional five minutes travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control for the safety of workers and motorists.

Over size over mass vehicles needing more than four metres travel width should notify traffic control for assistance through the work area.

Access to local properties will not be affected.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
