Host an event or activity

The Hearts of Gold Committee and Bland Shire Council are currently inviting artists, community groups, schools and buskers to submit an Expression of Interest to contribute to the Hearts of Gold Festival 2023 program.

This free community festival will feature a number of unique events, including music, a drone light show, activities and experiences for the whole community to enjoy.

We are seeking a variety of event and activities and are committed to supporting your needs to ensure your activity runs smoothly and successfully.

This is a great opportunity to connect with the community, showcase your talents and to create exposure for your group, business or charity. Examples of how you may get involved are listed below, or you are welcome to contact us to discuss your unique ideas.

  • Performances and showcases.
  • Tours of local areas of interest.
  • Exhibits of artwork.
  • Children’s activities such as scavenger hunts, great races or arts and crafts.
  • Workshops or demonstrations.
  • Charity events or raffles

Perform at our Brunch and Browse

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for local artists to perform on stage during the Brunch and Browse segment of the Hearts of Gold Festival.

This will be held on Saturday 14 October in the West Wyalong Main Street from 10AM-12:30PM.
