Wishart Gallery & Art Studio are running two Resin Pour workshops using lots of gold epoxy and glitter!
Max of 10 - 12 spots per session so book and pay early to secure your spot.
Pour your own tray or wine holder, 4-6 coasters and two keyrings to take home once dry.
Learn how to create stunning and unique pieces of resin art through this exciting resin workshop. The workshop covers a range of techniques and projects, and is designed for both beginners and experienced artists alike.
During the resin art workshops, you will be introduced to the fascinating world of epoxy resin and you will learn how to create beautiful pieces of art using this versatile material.
You will learn the basics of working with resin, including mixing, pouring, and color techniques, and gain the skills and confidence needed to create your own stunning resin art pieces.
During this workshop, you will learn how to create a unique and personalized resin board, which can be used as a serving tray, cheese board, or decorative piece or a unique 4- 6 piece wine holder.
What you will learn:
- What resin is and how to safely work with it
- How to properly mix your resin
- How to add different pigments, powders and glitters to colour your resin
- How to mould resin using your silicon moulds
- How to de-mould and finish your decorations

Our workshops are all about creativity and you will enjoy new and old friends, laugh with each other as you try and contain the spills and simply enjoy some time out for yourself and have a fabulous fun filled festival weekend..
No previous experience or skills required.
This workshop is not recommended for pregnant women or children under the age of 16 as chemicals are used.
What to bring
Everything you need will be provided including an apron to wear during the workshop and ventilation masks for fumes - it can get a bit messy so don't dress to impress, if you get resin on your clothes or shoes it won't wash off.
Your artwork will need at least 24 hours to dry, you will be able to collect your pieces the following week on Wed or Thursday when the gallery is open again. Postage can be arranged for an additional charge.
