Lake Cowal Birds & Binos

We will be contributing to the Birdlife Australia ‘Aussie Backyard Bird Count’, citizen science bird survey program. The Lake Cowal Birds & Bino’s event has been a great annual event to come visit the lake and help us submit our bird survey to Birdlife Australia.

We will meet at McCann Park, on the Main street in West Wyalong, to drive out together along the eastern side of Lake Cowal, then return to Lake Cowal Homestead for more birding and lunch.

Some binoculars are provided, but if you have some please bring them along. Please bring sensible enclosed walking shoes, long pants, a hat, and a water bottle.

BBQ lunch is $10 each.
