Sewage Detection - West Wyalong
NSW Health's ongoing sewage surveillance program has detected fragments of the virus that causes COVID-19 in sewage samples collected from West Wyalong.
Everyone is urged to monitor for the onset of symptoms, and if they appear, to immediately be tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
In accordance with the latest NSW Public Health Order, anyone attending the Bland Shire Library and Visitor Information Centre from Monday 11 October must be double vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
All other Council buildings, including Council’s offices and administration building, are able to remain open to ALL residents regardless of vaccination status.
Patrons of the Library and Visitor Information Centre from Monday will be required to provide proof of vaccination status or exemption upon entry. Accepted evidence of vaccination can be a COVID Digital Certificate from MyGov or Certification from the place of vaccination or from the Australian Immunisation Register.
