Naming of Monash Street Park

Council is seeking public comment on a proposal to name the park on the corner of Monash and Park Streets, West Wyalong, “Grellman Park” to recognise the contributions over a long period of the Grellman family to West Wyalong and the Bland Shire.

The public submissions received will be considered by Council at its meeting on 16 June 2020. If the proposal to name the park is supported and Council determine to proceed, the matter will then be submitted to the NSW Geographical Names Board for their consideration.

Comments are now invited and will be received up until 5pm on Friday May 22, 2020.
