Bland Shire Council Seeks Community Feedback on Draft Operational Plan and Budget
Bland Shire Council is inviting the community to have their say on its draft Operational Plan, including the proposed annual Budget and Fees and Charges for 2026–2027.
The Operational Plan outlines the key activities Council will undertake over the coming year, including maintaining and improving local roads, enhancing town centres and parks, protecting the environment and delivering a range of community programs and services.
This detailed one-year plan supports Council’s four-year Delivery Program, adopted in June 2025 and includes specific projects, service levels, as well as the proposed budget and revenue policy for the next financial year.
Mayor Brian Monaghan encouraged residents to take the opportunity to review the documents and provide feedback.
“I urge residents to review the draft Operational Plan, Budget and Revenue Policy and share their thoughts. Your feedback helps us make decisions that reflect our community’s priorities,” Mayor Monaghan said.
The draft documents are on public exhibition until Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
Council welcomes submissions from all members of the community during this period. Feedback received will be considered before the final documents are adopted.
