ON PUBLIC EXHIBITION FOR FEEDBACK

Bland Shire Council now has on public exhibition for your consideration the Bland Shire Council Code of Meeting Practice and Public Forum Policy.

Hard copies of the documents are also available at the Council Administration Office. The documents are on public exhibition until 5pm on Tuesday 24 March 2026.

Written feedback will be received until 5pm, Tuesday 7 April 2026.

The West Wyalong Show Society has advised that the 2026 Show date has changed:

Original date: Wednesday, 2 September 2026

New date: Wednesday, 9 September 2026

As a result, Council needs to consult the community on amending the gazetted half-day public holiday for the Bland Shire. After consultation, the proposed new date will be submitted to the NSW Premier’s Office for approval.
