Bland Shire Council is seeking community feedback on a proposal from the West Wyalong Show Society to support a part-day public holiday for the 2027 and 2028 West Wyalong Shows. Community consultation is required before any application can be made to the NSW Government. Have your say by completing the survey before 30 September 2026.
Ungarie has a newly refurbished 25 metre swimming pool open to the public during the summer swimming season.
The pool is managed by the Leisure and Recreation Group and is open between November and March each year.
A number of swimming programs are offered each season at the Ungarie Pool.
