Disability Inclusion

1. Mobility Access Map 

Bland Shire Council has created a Mobility Access Map to assist residents and visitors in navigating the CBD area of West Wyalong with ease. Click here to access the map. 

2. Disability Inclusion Action Plan

In accordance with legislative requirements under the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014, Council is required to develop a Disability Inclusion Action Plan.

3.  Access Incentive Grant Scheme

Council offers an attractive Access Incentive Grant Scheme which aims to -

  1. Provide financial assistance to improve access to and within buildings,

  2. Encourage the development of partnerships between local business, community organisations/ services, local government and the general public,

  3. To encourage a greater awareness of access issues in the community.
