About the HR Scoping Project

Jointly led by Temora and Bland Shire Councils and funded through the Regional Drought Resilience Program (RDRP), this workshop is Part 2 of the employer consultation process to inform the design of the most suitable HR support model for businesses across Temora and Bland shires.

In the first round of employer workshops, insights gathered informed us that:

  • 46% of employers’ #1 business goal is GROWTH
  • 31% of employers’ #1 business goal is SUSTAINABILITY

The top 3 HR priorities for employers to achieve these goals are:

1. Retention of current employees

2. Creating a more harmonious workplace

3. Building a high performing team

With these, and many more insights gathered in the first workshop, several possible HR support models have been identified and developed to address the needs of local businesses.

About this Workshop

During this workshop, insights gathered from the first workshop will be shared, and a range of possible HR Support models will be tabled for discussion and feedback.

The insights gathered from this second workshop, will inform the most viable, preferred HR support model for local businesses.

As a local employer in the Bland Shire and surrounding towns, your feedback is imperative to ensure the preferred HR model works for your business.
