Mirri Ngurang Dog Park

The Bland Shire has a new tourism and cultural attraction following the official opening of Mirri Ngurang Dog Park during NAIDOC Week 2021. Mirri Ngurang is both for locals of Bland Shire as well as visitors who would like to exercise their dogs and simply give them a break from the tedium of their journey. It is one of the few dedicated dog parks in regional NSW, and offers both play and training facilities. In the Wiradjuri language Mirri means dog and Ngurang means camp, town, place or nest. On the fence are some dog laser cut dog images, see if you guess the dog breed.
