The Art of Ageing is a photographic exhibition that celebrates the value, experience and contribution that older people bring, and challenges outdated perceptions of ageing. The exhibition comprises works by outstanding NSW photographers and features extraordinary Australians that have carved out interesting and active lives for themselves that keep them young. Of local interest is the inclusion of Steve Ridley.
Art of Ageing is an initiative under the NSW Ageing Strategy 2016–2020. The 2020 Art of Ageing exhibition which was officially opened at NSW Parliament House in March is touring across NSW throughout 2021 – 2022.
Art of Ageing is now on display at Bland Shire Library until 19 August 2021.
